In this fun class you will study color scales, color families, value, and color schemes. You will learn how to use the color tool when selecting fabrics for your next project.
The Ives color wheel is used in the world of fabric manufacturing and fabric dyeing, making it the color wheel most appropriate for quilt makers to use. The primary colors are yellow, magenta, and turquoise(cyan) like what you see in home printers. Joen Wolfrom has created the 3-in-1 Color Tool based on the Ives Color wheel. This is the only supply you will need for this class. You will get directions on how to create a small quilt based on the Sisters Choice block to remember each of the nine different color schemes.
