Quilt Dream

My Quilt Dreams are on hold as we rebuild our Studios and Gallery after the devastating fire on Cannon Street.

We are CLOSED. But we hope to re-open by the end of October.

A number of families have been displaced and members of the community are asking how they can contribute.

Ways to donate 

1) gift certificates and small items can be collected either at the Houston’s Dockside Emporium, or to Betty or Tom Dietz directly.

Please avoid the Cannon Street site as workers will be in and out.

We are making a up number of baskets.

One will be auctioned off to raise funds for the affected families and other baskets will go directly to them.

Please try to get GCs and items into us by Tuesday of next week.

2) cash donations can be dropped off at collection boxes located at many of the downtown merchants.

3) We have set up a new fund with the Chester Valley Ministers Association,  called the  Chestertown Area Relief Fund.  This fund will provide a significant cash payment to the victims of the recent Cannon Street Fire. We are hoping this will be an on-going fund able to help the current victims and also any families affected by future fires or natural disasters. Your donations are tax deductible.

Donors who want to may mail in checks payable to Chester Valley Ministers Association can send them to the address below. 

In the memo section of your check please add: CARF or Chestertown Area Relief Fund.
